This has been a one year project. And the outcome of this one year effort is to put together a bunch of videos that collectively define Hinduism in a manner that is far more precise than what most of us are exposed to. And the precision of this definition is not from an academic lens or from the lens of an advanced practitioner. This definition has been put together for a beginner Sadhaka. The videos are long, serious and I also admit that I could have personally put together a much better script than what those of you will witness if and when you decide to watch the videos. What you will see is not a video with a lot of animation but simply a bunch of PPT slides with a voice-over. A very long monologue. But if you too are a seeker interested in getting a better definition on Hinduism than what is usually available outside, you may enjoy this attempt of mine. Feedback/ comments are more than welcome.
For your benefit, I provide below the definition for your ease of reference so that one need not approach this long video with any kind of suspense. So you may watch the videos only to know the “why” behind why this specific definition is seen as more apt for a Sadhaka.
सनातन धर्म (or Hinduism) is a ज्ञान – विज्ञान परम्परा centered around ब्रह्म as the आधार and सनातन सत्य of the विश्व and everything within it. Keeping ब्रह्म as the core, सनातन धर्म conveys its ज्ञान in three broad categories:
1.सृष्टि: how ब्रह्म projects or manifests as the Universe;
2.नियम: the key rules governing lives of all living beings; and
3.योग: a way for a living being to connect with one’s own ब्रह्म state of being
Throughout millennia, ऋषिs who had अनुभव of ब्रह्म स्थिति as their own स्वरूप have recorded and conveyed their अनुभव in the three categories. These अनुभव recorded in various texts came to be referred to as the शास्त्र by a हिन्दू. A हिन्दू thereby learns and applies परिभाषा available in the शास्त्र to live life with the intent of regaining connect with one’s own स्वरूप
Above definition has been elaborated in 72 PPT slides to explain the ideas more clearly. Ten videos (being PPT slides with a voice-over) have been uploaded in the links below under two sections:

OM TAT SAT

Yama must be included with niyama.
2. The Ultimate Truth is One which is indescribable or beyond language. The reason why Lord Dakshinamurthy teaches in Silence. For the sadhaka it is said he is both nirguna and saguna so that he can relate to it. One need not be confused by words like monotheism or polytheism. Everything is subsumed under the One and both are therfore acceptable and proper method of idol worship is not idolatory as the Abrahamic religions put it.

Thanks for your inputs. Agree that Satya is indescribable. I have kept away from using Western words (including the word “God”) in the narrative. As per Niyama, I have placed both Yama & Niyama within Yoga. As for the word “Niyama” used in the definition, I meant the rules of Yagna & Karma here. You can look at the Niyama video to know the context.Thanks again for your inputs.
